Tarrant County may assist eligible owner-occupants with major roof, electrical or plumbing failures and ADA barrier removal. Multi-county cities must confirm that the property is in the eligible Tarrant County service area.
Program eligibility, approved work scope, contractor requirements and funding are controlled solely by the public agency.
How the homeowner should apply
- Open the official program page and confirm that the property, homeowner, income, project and timing requirements are met.
- Submit the city's application or contact the listed program office, including every required ownership, income, insurance, tax and project document.
- Wait for written approval and any required agreement before ordering materials, signing a program-funded construction commitment or beginning work.
